This course consists of three modules:

• Safety in the Workplace
• Introduction to Solar Energy
• Solar Energy Fundamentals

The course will cover:

• Safety issues associated with solar energy installation
• Different types of solar energy technologies
• The history of solar
• Solar policy and regulation
• Solar market growth and trends
• The importance of solar as a source of energy now and in the future

An in-person hands on learning laboratory will be included.
